Moving Mountains began through the VANS residency program in the North end of Halifax, at Wonder’neath Art Studios on Friday and Saturday during Open Studio programming. Working together over the period of six weeks, participants created personalized mountain hats, mountain balloon props, magnetic “mountains” (obstacles in their lives) and 2 giant mountain range floats (lovingly named Twin Peaks and lil’guy) for the 2017 Natal Day Parade in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
