Fabricated during a 2 week long exhibition at Anna Leonowens Gallery, the structure of the work is a 10′ x 16.5′ rolling carpet with brooms that are attached to a rolling chassis by cables. Installed in the 2016 Natal Day Parade in Dartmouth, NS, performers swept/pulled/pushed the carpet along the route under heavy labour. Additional performers gleaned the leftover debris.
